Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. Environment Art.
This is the first time I’ve seen location artwork for Dark Dawn…
ME TOO AND IT’S GORGEOUS
One of the game’s strengths, to be sure.
This is a tumblelog, kinda like a blog but with short-form, mixed-media posts with stuff I like. Scroll down a bit to start reading, or a bit more to read more about me.

- Nowell, a word please.
- Y-Yes, captain Piers?
- I… was wondering if it would be alright for me to borrow this game for a while.

What I find interesting about Sol Sanctum is (as Shadow Milotic once pointed out) that the design on the ground in front of the sanctum is of the sun’s alchemical/astronomical symbol.
The lighthouses don’t have their alchemical/astronomical symbols out front. Instead, they have different designs representing their element.
I actually never noticed this! Honestly, I had no idea the sun had an alchemical symbol, or that alchemical symbols existed! Good find!
(My bad on not filling these out lately. :c)
Day 2: Your favourite quote
“The thingy….that makes it go.” - Kraden, on Saturos and Menardi’s boat
Day 3: Your least favourite boss
Sentinel. God. Sentinel. Let’s go ahead and take away one of your MAIN ATTACKING METHODS. Djiin and standard attack spamming is damn cool. Thanks, buttface. (Actually that made the battle fun, so it was cool~)
Day 4: A track in the game that makes you sad
There aren’t any songs in the game that make me sad, honestly. The soundtrack was always very well done, though not mood-altering in my case.
As with the previous one, I will exclude all canon elements of Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, because it was poopy. With that in mind, read on:
Day 1: Your favourite element
I would have to say that my favorite element is Mercury (Water/Ice). Loved it from the second it was introduced, then after meeting Mia, that was over. I mean come, on, Mia. It’s not even fair. Since then, I have loved most of the Mercury Adepts in the games. Plus I always find myself attracted to healing as a concept.
Steve Blum (voice of Amon) taking my ‘bending’ away ;0;…even though I’m an Adept.
Piers cosplay by me!
