One overlooked, almost insignificant piece of information could end his dad’s life, he realizes. He can’t believe he forgot to check out the last one in the trio, who had seemed uninvolved at the time.
The thoughts connect at lightning speed, but even that doesn’t seem fast enough. “Oh, my God.” That’s all he can say, because his father could be dead and it would be his fault for not checking for this stupid, overlooked, seemingly insignificant piece of information.
